Hello! My name is Logan Warner. I'm 19 years old and was born in Grants Pass Oregon. When I was 6, my family moved up to Salem, where I have learned to grow and meet friends and make relationships I cherish. I recently graduated from West Salem High School and am currently a Sophmore at Chemeketa Community College, where I'm pursuing an applied science degree with a focus on cybersecurity. My foray into the working world began at the age of 15 when I joined Great Harvest Bread Co., later worked as a shift lead at Hawaiian Time, and now at Chick-Fil-A as a Training & Support Lead. Balancing school and work has taught me a lot about responsibility and time management—skills I believe will serve me well in the future. Music is one of my greatest passions. As a saxophonist, I've had the honor of playing in various honor bands, achieving positions like 1st and 3rd chair throughout my high school years. These experiences have not only shaped my musical abilities but also my character and discipline.
Athletics is another area where I find joy and challenge. When I'm not running with friends, I immerse myself in gym workouts, balancing social outdoor activity with focused indoor training for the betterment of my physical and mental well-being. And when I'm looking for some downtime, I often turn to video games, a hobby that allows me to unwind and have fun. I have a personal motto that has guided me throughout my life, a lesson from my dad: "Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable." This principle has been a cornerstone in how I approach my commitments, ensuring I'm always the person you can rely on to be punctual. A defining moment in my life came a few years ago when I auditioned for a music scholarship, and earned a full ride to the University of Oregon. One inconsistency came up, and just like that, the scholarship was gone. That was the moment I realized nothing is guaranteed. I stopped thinking life owed me something, and I started earning my future. Since then, I've shown up differently: working harder, taking responsibility, and learning from people with more experience. That moment shifted my direction and taught me that only the future worth having is the one you work for. Looking ahead, my dream is to complete the electrician apprenticeship program and become and jorneyman electrician, and hopefully starting my own electrical company one day. Thank you for getting to know a bit about me. Here's to the future and all the adventures it holds!
